Nepal: Sita Air Plane Crashed Near Kathmandu Kills 19 Passenger On Board

Sita airline crashed near Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Friday morning September 28. There was total of 19 people on board and all of them killed on plane crash. The Sita airplane crashed on the bank of Manohara River. On the account of Sita airline employee, Kapil Karki, there was total of 12 forigner and 7 Nepalese passengers killed including 3 crew members of Sita airline. Among the foreigners there were British and Chinese citizens. The front part of the airplane is utterly destroyed only tail is remained.

The Sita Air twin- engine propeller was about going to Lukla Airport to reach Himalayan area world highest peak .The mountain flight crashed within a few minutes after took off from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). It seemed like after the plane caught on fire pilot try to land on the river, but failed to do so and crashed on the bank of the river.

Nepalese: Seven (7) Nepalese including crew members
British:     Seven (7) British citizens
Chinese:   Five (5) Chinese citizens

Fire is now totally under control and police rescuers pulled out the body from the destroyed plan.
