Rhododendron Flower is a beautiful flower covered in crimson red which is known as the national flower of country Nepal. Rhododendron National Flower of Nepal is called Laliguras in Nepali language. Usually, this kind of highest species diversity are found in the cold places of Himalayan region. It has been popular as ornaments in gardens and has led to a major horticultural industry with its widely uses in landscaping. They can adopt the climate of Himalayan and merely grows in wild. They seem to be very affectionate on the spectacular spring which makes them among the most popular garden shrubs.

In general, the plant rhododendron belongs to the family Ericaceae which also includes the
Heath, and there are about eight-hundred fifty species. Rhododendrons tend to be relatively pest and disease free, known as a healthy and blooming flower. According to the study, rhododendron flower shows a great variety in size, habit, and flower color, colors from white to pink, dark-purple, yellow, red, and orange too. They are ranged from small shrubs to small trees with evergreen leaves that are leathery. The leaves are short stalked, simple, and alternate, and the flowers are large, bell-shaped, and born in dense clusters. They are best grown on acidous soil, included with lots of moisture and organic material. The leaves, flowers, pollen, and nectar of many rhododendron species contain several toxins. These toxins are called grayanotoxins or andromedotoxin, a resinoid carbohydrate.

Therefore, its should be protected and taken good care. Usually rhododendrons are tend to be pest and disease free but in case, there are few insects or diseases that are troublesome on them. Those that normally occur can be easily controlled with all-purpose fungicides and insecticides. Light pruning can be done at any time, but heavy pruning is best done in the spring. Plants not given protection from the wind often develop leaf scorch or splitting of the bark on the stems and over-watering may cause death to this beautiful species. One must be careful about its habits and temperature cause it belongs from humid climate.
